Yezdi Streetfighter: A Glimpse at the Upcoming Model

Yezdi Motorcycles looks to be adding to its portfolio in order to expand its offering. Images from a dealer event appear to be recent and show what appears to be the Yezdi Streetfighter, a model that appears to be built on the Yezdi Scrambler. According to the leaked photos, Yezdi may be preparing to launch a new model to enhance its current lineup, most likely aimed at the streetfighter market.

Design and Features

The similarities between the two models are striking, suggesting that the Yezdi Streetfighter might share much of its bodywork and styling with the current Scrambler offering. From the LED headlight to the ribbed seat and wide handlebar, many design elements seem consistent. Even the single-pod instrument cluster mounted on the right side bears a strong resemblance to that of the Scrambler.

Hardware and Performance

However, there are notable differences, particularly in the exhaust setup. The Yezdi Streetfighter has a two-in-one container arrangement on the right side, suggesting that both the design and functionality may alter in the future. Other hardware distinctions include telescopic front forks with gaiters, dual rear shocks and single-disc brakes with ABS at both ends. In order to combine performance and durability, the bike is also equipped with spoke wheels and CEAT Crossrad tyres.

Engine and Power

One interesting detail is the ‘334’ sticker adorning the side panels, likely signaling the engine capacity. If the Yezdi Streetfighter moves into production, it’s anticipated to house the same 334cc, single-cylinder, liquid-cooled engine found in the Scrambler, producing 29.36 BHP and 28.21 Nm of torque. This power plant would be mated to a 6-speed gearbox promising a dynamic riding experience.

The Yezdi Streetfighter may be in testing, based on spy photos but its future is still unknown. Motorcycle lovers are excited for additional information and updates regarding this possible addition to Yezdi's range as it is expected to be presented in the upcoming months. With its unique design components and similarity to the Yezdi Scrambler revealed in leaked photographs, the Yezdi Streetfighter looks like a promising challenger in the streetfighter sector serving riders looking for a combination of performance and style.
