2017 Toyota Camry Hybrid has recently launched in India for INR 31,98,500 (ex-showroom Delhi). The car carries the tag of being the only hybrid that is manufactured in the country. It was first introduced in 2013 and ever since that day, it has been in demand for its frugal nature. The new Camry Hybrid is powered by a 2.5 liter engine that comes mated to an electronically controlled CVT.

The combination of electric motors produce 205 PS of maximum power and in return, provides a certified mileage of 19.16 kmpl. Toyota Camry Hybrid offers the best in class 9 airbags for enhanced protection, tyre pressure monitoring system, emergency brake signal, vehicle stability control, traction control and hill start assist. It even uses a new reverse parking monitor.
Toyota provides 15 inch wheels with new alloy design, LED fog lights, ORVM’s with memory, LED headlight and sharper lines on the exterior. The interior now carries Zebra Wood finish, high density dashboard and acoustic windscreen glass for the quietest experience. Features on the car includes reclining rear seats, wireless smartphone changer and 12 speaker JBL system.
Camry Hybrid offers six shades namely White Pearl Crystal Shine, Gray Metallic, Attitude Black, True Blue Mica Metallic, Silver Metallic and Dark Brown Mica Metallic. The car qualifies for the government FAME scheme and the benefits will be passed to the customer. Camry comes out as the winner as Honda even priced the Accord at a higher INR 37 lakh price tag.
