The matte edition in Polo is offered in its GT variant and priced at Rs. 9.99 lakh (ex-showroom), whereas the matte edition in Vento is offered in two variants – the Highline AT and Highline Plus AT. Currently, both Vento model variants are available at an ex-showroom offer price of Rs 11.94 lakh and Rs 13.34 lakh respectively. As far as deliveries are concerned, it is anticipated that the deliveries will start immediately.

When it comes to the changes in these new limited-edition versions, they have received a slew of aesthetic upgrades. The Volkswagen Polo and Vento Matt Editions have a matte paint style. The Carbon Steel Grey Matt coating will be applied to the outside of both vehicles, including the roof, fuel flap, front and rear bumpers, according to the brand. The ORVM and door handles of these Volkswagen cars, on the other hand, will have a black glossy finish, giving them a stylish and classy appearance.

Talking about the mechanical updates in the newly launched Matte editions, there have been no mechanical alterations. Both are driven by a 1.0-litre TSI turbocharged petrol engine with a maximum power output of 110 PS and a peak torque output of 175 Nm. Only the 6-speed automatic torque converter gearbox is being offered with both versions. Also, the Polo and Vento Matt Editions are now available at all Volkswagen dealerships and on the Volkswagen online shopping platform.

Both models are also offered with Volkswagen’s standard 4EVER Care package, which includes a 4-year standard warranty, four years of roadside assistance (RSA), and three free services. Stating on the launch of two new trims, Ashish Gupta, Brand Director, Volkswagen Passenger Cars India, Polo and Vento are the company’s class-leading cars that have set new benchmarks since their debut.  Now they are confident that customers will love the Matte editions too and enjoy driving German engineering-based cars.
