Meet Yamaha R15 V2 Neon Green Edition: R15 has ruled the Indian motorcycle market since its entry in 2008. This year, YZF-R15 series completed ten years of existence in India.

Yamaha recently also launched the R15 Version 3.0 for INR 1.25 Lakh. DS Design recently wrapped a R15 Version 2.0 in a custom Neon Green and used Grey highlights on the side fairing.

The frame was kept intact while rear end now comes without a mudguard. Alloy wheels on the motorcycle are finished in Neon Green whereas the same can even be found on the front fascia and fuel tank. Although, stock fuel tank is single tone in nature, this one gets Black inserts with carbon fiber finish on both the sides.

The tail section is finished in Grey while an even wide tyre is used for the rear end. Apart from these, no changes were made in the performance and internal components of the motorcycle. The number plate now rests under the exhaust.

Yamaha R15 V2 is powered by a 149.8 cc, single cylinder engine producing 16.8 BHP at 8500 rpm and 15 Nm at 7500 rpm. The engine comes mated to a 6-speed gearbox. Yamaha claims a top speed of 131 kmph while the motorcycle weighs 136 kg.

It comes with a 12 liter fuel tank and costs INR 1,19,800 for the V2.0. Yamaha R15 can even be bought in a single, long seat version R15-S that resembles the first version. It even uses the same engine and performs the same way on both road and track.
