The sales reports for the month of July 2018 are out, and Honda 2-Wheelers has come out in the upper spectrum, yet again. The most-selling vehicle from the company is the Honda Activa, although there has been a drop in the sales when compared to the sales from July last year. The drop is primarily attributed to the larger number of options that are now available in the market. Only the CB Shine and the CB Unicorn have shown a growth in the sales over July last year, with 5% and 33% more sales respectively. The rest of the bikes and scooters that are sold by Honda have seen a general slump in sales.
Out of the all the models sold this year, new launches include the Grazia, the XBlade, the CBR250R, and the GL1800 (2018 Gold Wing). The best selling vehicle from the Honda lineup remains the Honda Activa, but it has shown a drop of 2% from last year, selling 6,289 fewer units in the month of July 2018 than the month of July 2017. The largest drop in percentage has been of the CB Unicorn 160, with a drop of 94% in July 2018 over July 2017. The company has acquired three spots in the Top 10 most selling scooters list, with the Honda Activa, the Honda Dio, and the Honda GRAZIA. The Activa has outshone all the others, with a sales number higher than combined sales of the rest of the 9 scooters on the list.
