Top 25 Best-Selling Cars in India (Sales Report): February 2019 saw a slight change in sales trend as the first position was bagged by none other than Maruti Alto with 24,751 units. The number has gone up in comparison to the average monthly sales of the car. Maruti Swift scored the second position while Baleno was good for the third position. The results clear that hatchbacks were preferred over sedans and SUV in the month of February.
The fourth position goes to Maruti Dzire with 15,915 units while WagonR came next with 15,661 units. Maruti Vitara Brezza scored the sixth position with 11,613 units, showing a considerable drop in the average sales number of the best selling compact SUV. Hyundai i20 and Creta bagged the next two positions with 11,547 and 10,206 units respectively.
The Grand i10 and Tata Tiago again showed that hatchbacks were preferred in the month. Maruti Ertiga, Mahindra Bolero, Maruti Eeco, Omni and Hyundai Santro bagged the next five positions. The new and improved Ertiga is scoring great numbers now. The next ten positions were bagged by random products with no fixed pattern.
