According to the reports, the much anticipated Google Pixel 4 and Pixel 4 XL are expected to hit the shelves in October. The news came after the recent launch of the Apple iPhone 11 series. The hands-on video of the Google Pixel 4 XL has leaked online which shows the smartphone in all its glory. Expected to feature a notch-less display, the upcoming smartphone from the brand will come with a 90Hz refresh rate. The video shows the Google Pixel 4 XL in three colours: white, black, and orange coral hue.
According to the rumours, the Google Pixel 4 XL’s setting application will feature a “Smooth Display” option that will allow the smartphone to dynamically adjust the refresh rate within 60Hz and 90Hz. Powering the smartphone will be a Snapdragon 855 SoC processor as the earlier rumours suggested. The processor will be further paired to 6GB of RAM.
The device is expected to get 8x zoom feature in addition to having a Motion Mode for action scenes as well a Night Sight feature for getting high definition images in the night. The brand will also offer a “Screen Attention” and “Ambient EQ” feature with the Google Pixel 4 XL.
The smartphone will feature a 6.23-inch 3040x1440px display in addition to getting a dual rear camera setup with a 12.2MP Sony IMX363 primary sensor and a secondary 16MP Sony IMX481 telephoto lens. The Pixel 4 XL will also feature a 20MP Sony IMX520 camera at the front.
The upcoming smartphone from the brand is expected to feature an OVM7251 IR sensor for Face Unlock as well as various IR sensors. It is also expected to feature hands-free gesture technology which will allow the users to change the songs via gesturing in either direction. A single hover from the hand will display the notifications and other information on the lock screen.
Google is expected to launch the Google Pixel 4 and 4XL on October 15 though more details on the smartphones will be revealed soon.
