Royal Enfield recently launched a new customisation and personalisation initiative known as ‘Make Your Own’ motorcycle. Through the introduction of the motorcycle configurator, the brand has made it possible for the customers to personalise and customise their motorcycles just at the time of the booking.
The genuine parts and accessories selected by the customers will be fitted by the company and also the parts will be coming with a two-year warranty. Royal Enfield took the initiative in order to save their customers from the hassle of buying a stock bike and then purchasing the parts and accessories separately. The brand has launched an online configurator to customize the motorcycle, which is now live on the official website.
When enquired about the initiative from the CEO of Royal Enfield, Vinod Dasari, he said – “Personalising and accessorising one’s motorcycle is almost like a holy ritual for an avid motorcyclist, and Royal Enfield motorcycles have lent themselves beautifully to customisation over the years. Our riding community and enthusiasts have always inspired us to boldly bring in new ideas and initiatives. Make Your Own is a unique project and a reflection of our creative riding community that has inspired us. With Make Your Own, buyers will be able to book and customise their motorcycle in just a few easy steps right at the booking stage. This new initiative allows customers to engage closely with the brand and experience more avenues with accessories and personalisation. We want our customers to have a more immersive experience at our stores while being able to express their own unique personalities through their motorcycles.”
The list of accessories that can be availed under the ‘Make Your Own’ program includes engine guards, luggage solutions such as panniers and rear luggage racks. Royal Enfield is also offering touring seats, fuel tank/side panel stickers, plus ARAI-compliant silencers and alloy wheels.
The brand recently also launched the single-channel ABS variant of the Royal Enfield Classic 350 that is available at a price tag of INR INR 1.46 lakh. In comparison, the dual-channel ABS model of the motorcycle costs INR 1.54 lakh. The prices mentioned here are ex-showroom Delhi.
