Earlier we notified that Perak Bobber has started reaching the Jawa dealerships whereas now the first look of the bike has been unveiled by a YouTube channel by the name Footloose Dev. In the video, the YouTuber showcases the bike displayed at a dealership in Delhi NCR namely Khandelwal Motorcraft.
Jawa Perak Exhaust Sound and Walkaround Video
According to the video, in comparison to the Jawa Forty Two, the Perak Bobber is heavier as the build is quite strong and the motorcycle also has a longer wheelbase. The bike is equipped with a floating seat that gives it a pure Bobber look.
Comparing the Perak to the Forty Two, the YouTuber found the former to be more comfortable, and according to him, the exhaust sound of the Perak Bobber is heavy in comparison to the rest of the Jawa motorcycles.
Mechanically, the Jawa Perak is powered by a 334cc single-cylinder liquid-cooled fuel-injected BS6 engine, which is good for 30HP of maximum power and 31Nm of peak torque. The engine is mated to a 6-speed gearbox.
The test rides for the motorcycle have already commenced whereas the brand started accepting the pre-bookings for the Jawa Perak Bobber from January 1, 2020. As per the official announcement made by Classic Legends, the deliveries of the bike will start on 2nd April this year. The Perak was launched back in November 2019 with an ex-showroom price tag of INR 1.95 lakh.
