The 2020 BS6 Mahindra Bolero is all set to be launched by the brand in the coming weeks while the first images of the updated SUV have surfaced online. Once launched in India, one can expect the updated Bolero variant to get a premium of around INR 50,000 over its BS4 counterpart. The brand has further ensured that the updated SUV now complies with the all-new crash test norms made mandatory by the Indian government.
Coming to the cosmetic changes, the 2020 BS6 Mahindra Bolero features an all-new grille at the front while the front bumper has been revised a bit. In addition to this, the brand has also tweaked the hood of the updated SUV while the headlight setup, as well as the black inserts, are also new. The overall chrome treatment offered to the front bumper further adds to the premium profile of the new model. The wheel arches on the SUV have also been revised while the rear bumper has been somewhat tweaked.
In terms of interior upgrades, the updated SUV variant now features a dark beige dashboard design while the premium leatherette seats add to the exclusivity. Powering the BS6 Mahindra Bolero Power Plus variant is a 1.5-litre three-cylinder diesel engine that is capable of churning out a maximum power of 71HP.
In addition to this, the standard BS6 Mahindra Bolero is also expected to offer revised power and torque values with a new engine. The customers will be able to get their hands on the updated SUV in three variants which include the B4, the B6 and the B6(O) trims.
Mahindra Bolero is one of the best selling SUVs from the brand that has been running successfully in the Indian markets from the past two decades. The SUV was able to witness a total sales of 52,828 units in the last fiscal year.
