Coronavirus: Hero Donates 60 First-Responder Mobile Ambulances

Since every organization in the country is coming up with several relief measures to fight the coronavirus pandemic, Hero MotoCorp is one that has donated 60 first-responder mobile ambulances to the authorities in India. The custom-built ambulance kit has been equipped on Hero motorcycles above 150cc as an accessory.

The brand has devised the specially modified motorcycles to help the patients in the rural and remote areas in case of an emergency. The mobile ambulances have been equipped with a side cart which is capable of accommodating a patient and moving him/her to the nearest hospital. The brand has equipped the first responder ambulance with a first aid kit, fire extinguisher, oxygen cylinder as well as a siren.

The Hero MotoCorp-developed mobile ambulances will be distributed to the authorities across the country to help in the fight against the coronavirus. In addition to distributing 60 mobile ambulances across the country, the brand has also decided to donate masks, sanitizers, gloves as well as 100 ventilators to the hospital staff.

Apart from this, Hero MotoCorp has decided to donate 100 Crores to the Prime Minister’s Relief Fund to help fight the pandemic in the country. The brand is also doing its bit towards the poor by helping distribute meals to more than 15,000 stranded labourers and daily wage workers. The meals are also distributed among homeless families.

The brand has offered its support for multiple relief parameters in the country which makes it a trustworthy organization in India that stands tall in the time of crisis to help out the fellow citizens with everything it has.

In addition to this, the brand has also extended the warranty and free services for its motorcycles until June 30, 2020. All the two-wheeler owners whose free services and warranty of motorcycles were due between March 21 and April 30, 2020, have been offered an extension to get their vehicles serviced before June 30th 2020 as the nationwide lockdown has made it impossible for the customers to reach the service centres on the required dates.
