Royal Enfield Meteor Brochure Leaked: As per the latest details available, the much-awaited RE Meteor 350 is expected to be launched in the Indian markets on September 22, 2020. Ahead of the launch, the official digital brochure of Meteor 350 has surfaced online, revealing the key features and the power output figures of the upcoming motorcycle.
According to the leaked details, the RE Meteor 350 will be powered by an updated version of the BS6-compliant, 350cc, 4-stroke, single-cylinder engine, which will generate a maximum power of 20.2 Bhp and a peak torque of 27 Nm. In comparison to the BS6-compliant Royal Enfield Classic 350, the Meteor 350 generates 1.1 Bhp more power and 1 Nm less torque. The engine will remain mated to a 5-speed gearbox, though the refinement levels are expected to be better when compared to Bullet and Classic series of motorcycles.
Coming to the instrument console of Royal Enfield Meteor 350, it features an asymmetrical dual-pod design. On the left side, there is a big analogue-digital dial which features a circular screen in the centre. The speedometer is analogue while the digital screen displays a fuel graph bar, an odometer, a trip meter, a clock, and a service reminder as well.
Apart from the dial on the left side, the console features another small screen on the right side which has been specifically placed for navigation purposes. Known as ‘Tripper Navigation Display Unit’, the riders would be able to connect their smartphone with the motorcycle (via Bluetooth) to get the riding stats and turn-by-turn navigation indications.
In addition to the features mentioned above, the Royal Enfield Meteor 350 features a newly-developed clutch and transmission system, which will further reduce the friction and enhance the refinement levels. The cruiser motorcycle will also come equipped with a USB charging port to charge a mobile phone or any other electronic device on the go.
The fuel tank capacity of Meteor 350 stands at 15-litres while the motorcycle is equipped with a 100/90-19 front tyre and a wide 140/70-17 rear tyre.
