If we talk about the looks, unlike the R15 V3’s dual-LED headlamp layout, the latest-gen R15 V4 series has a single-pod LED headlamp with integrated LED DRLs, as we have seen on the new model of Yamaha R7. However, the most significant change in the next-gen model is the addition of upside-down (USD) front forks, which have replaced the conventional telescopic forks.
In addition to that, some of the other key features of the R15 V4 and R15M include likes of a Quickshifter, Traction Control System (TCS), Slipper and Assist Clutch (ASC), and a dual-channel ABS unit.
Mechanically, the sports bike is powered by the same BS6-compliant 155.1cc, liquid-cooled, fuel-injected, single-cylinder engine, which now generates 18.4HP of maximum power at 10,000 rpm along 14.2Nm of peak torque at 7,500 rpm. The engine remains mated to a 6-speed gearbox.
