DC ‘Mahindra Thar Hulk’ On The Road in Mumbai – Video

A few months back, DC Design released a uniquely designed model of the Mahindra Thar named “Hulk” and it became popular among Indians. This looks to be street legal now, since it has been sighted in Andheri, Mumbai, with regular registration and a white number plate. A video of this modified model has been posted by the auto enthusiast Mayank Kumar. As the name suggests, the Thar Hulk has been revamped with beefed-up dimensions, inspired by Marvel’s characters.

The theme extends to physical features as well as the SUV’s high level of refinement, sophistication, and luxury. Thar Hulk’s front fascia has been redesigned with new headlights, DRLs, grille, bonnet, and bumper. Thar Hulk now has triple-beam LED headlights instead of the original circular headlights. It is flanked by elegant DRLs. The vertically slatted grille appears to be similar, but the number of bars, as well as their size and style, have been changed. The broad chrome strip on the front bumper complements the overall appearance of the customised SUV.

Moreover, the bonnet has been redesigned with a more muscular design that includes air vents on top. The Thar Hulk received four extra LED lights on its roof. These red-coloured units look great and are precisely what you need to grab some well-deserved attention on the streets. They appear to be functionally significant as well since they can give greater lighting in low-light or foggy circumstances. When it comes to the side profile, Thar Hulk has massive fenders at the front and back.

The stock alloy wheels have been changed with bigger steel ones outfitted with aftermarket dual-purpose tyres. The ground clearance is now more than that of a regular Thar. These modifications not only improve the car’s aesthetic profile but also increase the SUV’s off-roading capabilities. The modified SUV includes a retractable sidestep to accommodate the extra ground clearance. Thar Hulk’s back bumper and taillights have also been updated. However, the mechanical updates don’t seem to have been done.
