Benelli has unveiled its new middleweight naked roadster motorcycle in international markets – the Tornado Naked Twin 500 (TNT 500). The TRK502 range shares a 500cc, twin-cylinder, liquid-cooled engine with this motorcycle. This motor produces 47.6 bhp at 8,500rpm and 46 Nm of peak torque at 6,000rpm when connected to a six-speed gearbox. A torque converter and slipper clutch mechanism are used in the transmission.
The front of the motorcycle has a vertically stacked twin-pod headlight with T-shape DRL. The front fender in body colour, radiator shrouds, 14-litre fuel tank, split-style seat, and underbelly exhaust are some of the key design highlights of the 2023 Benelli TNT 500.
Suspension is handled by 50mm telescopic front forks and a rear mono-shock. The spring preload and rebound damping of the mono-shock are adjustable. The anchoring system consists of twin 320mm discs in front and a single 260mm rotor in the back. It has 17-inch wheels with 120/70-section front and 160/60-section rear tyres.
A five-inch colour TFT display with Bluetooth connectivity is among the features. The Benelli Tornado Naked Twin 500 has handlebar controls and full LED lighting. The Tornado Naked Twin 500 will be available in international markets beginning in the second half of 2023. Details about the Indian launch are currently unavailable.
