Suzuki recently revealed a one of its kind, Swift Racer RS that would be showcased at 2017 Tokyo Auto Salon in Japan. It would be a show car and won’t be made for road legal purposes. However, it would give an idea to the modifiers about the potential of the new Swift in case of exterior enhancement. The car’s exterior is finished in Blue and Neon Green shade of motoGP Team Suzuki Ecstar.
Suzuki Swift Racer RS Revealed Before 2017 Tokyo Auto Salon
Suzuki Swift Racer RS features 17 inch alloy wheels with Neon Green pinstripes, totally custom interior with Recaro race seats and many other interior additions. The car is based on the RS variant of the 2017 Swift, currently available internationally with a 1.2 liter Dualjet engine producing 91 PS and 118 Nm of torque. Swift RS even comes with 1.0 liter Boosterjet petrol motor with 102 PS and 150 Nm.
The theme will further be extended to Suzuki motocross team through the characteristic Yellow/Red livery of Suzuki Ignis. The stock Ignis is ready for the launch in India on 13 January 2017. The next gen Swift will certainly take more time for its launch and Maruti Suzuki has even said that the compact sedan Dzire version would be the first one to launch in India.
