2017 Honda CBR650F has been officially unveiled at EICMA 2016. The bike is now even more attractive in terms of performance, raising the power by 4 BHP. The 649 cc, inline-4 engine is now good for 89.8 BHP @ 11,000 rpm and 64 Nm @ 8,000 rpm, which Honda claims is felt from 5000 rpm onwards. The engine is smooth enough to pick the bike up in sixth gear from just 1500 rpm and creates very less noise and harshness values.

The increased power now required better braking, thanks to the upgraded 320 mm dual disc brakes with Nissin calipers at the front and 240 mm of rear disc. The standard dual channel ABS makes it even more worthy than all other around the segment. The increase in power is due to the new intake and exhaust system with shorter funnels. The motorcycle now also uses 41 mm Showa front forks with dual bending valve for enhanced riding comfort and handling.
The motorcycle comes with aluminum 6-spoke wheels with 120/70-ZR17 and 180/55-ZR17 wheels. The headlight is now full LED while the taillights stays the same crisp LED pattern. The motorcycle now weighs 213 kg and claims a seat height of 810 mm, making it tough for some riders to ride with below average height. Honda will soon bring the updated model to India where the current motorcycle is sold at INR 7.30 lakh (ex-showroom price).
