Honda X-ADV was still a concept at last year’s show. This time, EICMA 2016 gets its very own, production ready Honda X-ADV, globally debuting as an off-road friendly scooter that is capable of turning down any terrain it faces till the destination. Carrying a bit of resemblance with the Africa Twin family, the Honda X-Adv is more of an urban crossover with longer swingarm, wired wheels and USD forks with extended travel.

Honda offers other premium features like 5 position adjustable windscreen, under seat storage and even high seating for better road visibility during rough terrain drives. It is actually based upon Honda NC750X and Integra, using a 745 cc, parallel twin motor producing 54 PS of maximum power and 68 Nm of torque. It comes mated to a DCT automatic gearbox and uses 17 inch front as well as 15 inch rear wheel.
The seat height measures 820 mm while the dry weight stands at 238 kg. A motorcycle like 13 liter fuel tank, 41 mm USD forks and rear shock with 150 mm of travel makes it even more practical than ever. It also carries 21 liters of underseat storage. The exterior features include LED front and rear lights, aluminum handlebar, rally style instrument console and 27.97 kmpl of claimed mileage.
The motorcycle will be first launched in Europe and North America while the Indian launch seems too much far at this time. India will get the Africa Twin with DCT gearbox in 2017 while HMSI may announce the upcoming products for the year in the month of January, 2017.
