1980 Royal Enfield Bullet by ParPin’s Garage: Restorations are all about giving back life to something that was once a prized possession. One such story comes live when we have a look at this beautifully painted Royal Enfield Bullet.
It had almost rusted to death before ParPin’s Garage took an initiative to rebuild the same and get back its lost glory from all those years.
Based on a 1980 Royal Enfield Bullet, this typical example here was thoroughly cleansed before getting started. Most impressive part on use here is that bar end indicator setup that work as both front and rear on the same time.
Before Restoration
After Restoration
It was in the worst possible condition with rusted engine parts and spoked rims. ParPin’s Garage removed every possible part that could be reused and replaced others with brand new components from present day Bullet series bikes.
Design language was kept static and thus, no one can guess its age by simply looking at its parts. Greenish finish was customer’s choice as they have wide range of color options that customers can select at the time of modification. Chrome of this engine was restored to get that brand new finish while right hand gear shifter helps it claim that unique RE status.
Parts like rear number plate holder and drum brakes are shared with Bullet and Classic models of present generation RE lineup. Royal Enfield Bullet seen here is equipped with cast iron engine and thus, brings more resale value than the models equipped with UCE engine.
Standard seat, chrome exhaust and unique handlebar further preserves the vintage appeal of this bike. 2018 Royal Enfield range starts from INR 1.15 lakh. For this price, one can get a brand new Bullet painted Black as stock. Bullet 500, on the other hand, is quite more powerful and expensive at 1.66 lakh (ex-showroom).
