Meet Yamaha VMAX Max Rider Edition: VMAX was last sold for INR 26.95 lakh (ex-showroom). It was a crossover between sportbike performance and cruiser specific riding. Knight Auto Customizer took its beauty to the next level by using carbon fiber wrap all over its body.
Named the Max Rider Edition, this typical VMAX comes with Yellow center stripe with metallic finish tank moniker and identical logo on its front fender. This rich detailing is further complemented by impressive curves found all over its body. The owner has also installed full titanium Akrapovic exhaust system for added aural pleasure. The system also improves the overall motorcycle performance.
VMAX is powered by a huge 1679cc, four-cylinder engine producing 197.3 BHP at 9000 rpm and 166.8 Nm at 6500 rpm. The engine comes mated to a 5-speed gearbox. The drag race specific motorcycle claims 0-100 kmph in just 2.7 seconds while heavy 310 kg of overall weight makes it good for limited 210 kmph top speed.
It rivals none other than Ducati Diavel in India but unfortunately, Yamaha discontinued this model before CBU tax reduction. If relaunched, it can be priced around INR 20 lakh, making it the most powerful motorcycle of its kind in India.
