10 Reasons Why You Should Wait for Bajaj Kratos

1) Out-of-the-box Design: Tough Competition to All

The Bajaj Kratos reflects a modern hybrid look between a cruiser and a street fighter instead of a conventional cruiser look. Bajaj Kratos features a brilliant design with some of the remarkable features. The bike has been styled with bright looking LED headlight, bright tail light, well sculpted fuel tank, conventional handlebar, chubby dual tone exhaust, unique gear indicator, good riding position with a step-up seat, classy alloy wheels, rear grab handle, and bright small turn indicators. It has a neatly designed front cowl with a swept-back visor along with a totally new setup for LED headlight setup. The brand new design for perforated disc brake adds to its beauty.

2) Stunning Headlights: First in Segment LED Setup

Well, you can’t escape from those 8 piece sensational all-new LED headlight on Bajaj Kratos. Bajaj has incorporated two different technologies for the different sections of the headlamp with the central units having HIDs and the surrounding six pieces have LED technology used for lighting.

3) Ducati Style Instrument Cluster: The 1st Ever by Bajaj

Yes, this is true. Bajaj Kratos is the first ever bike by Bajaj that will sport a all-digital instrument cluster setup. Inspired by the Diavel, the Bajaj Kratos will feature a split instrument cluster setup where one unit mounted on the handlebars and the other on the tank.

4) Most Powerful Bajaj Ever: With powerful Highway Cruising

The Bajaj Kratos will come equipped with a 373.2 cc, single-cylinder, fuel-injected, liquid-cooled engine which can generate 34.51 Bhp at 8000 rpm . The added on part is that this version has got a different setup in a different state of tune that makes it fit for touring purpose.

The engine will be mated to a six-speed gearbox. Although the power output will be lesser than KTM 390’s 44 Hp but the Bajaj Kratos is expected to deliver more tractable power for highway cruising and low-speed usability. This is one of the most powerful bike ever by Bajaj.

5) Brakes and Suspension: Standard ABS

Bajaj Kratos is expected to come equipped with conventional front telescopic forks (unlike the USD forks on the prototype CS400 model) and mono-shock setup for the rear. The braking part will be much similar with the current-gen Pulsars, equipped with disc brakes for both front and rear. The bike is expected to come with single-channel ABS as standard and dual-channel ABS might be available as an option.

6) Comfortable Ride: Low Handlebars Add to Comfort

The Bajaj Kratos has got a single seat unit though in a step shape. So, the pillion wouldn’t be at least uncomfortable like on the Yamaha R15. The not too low-set handlebars will let the rider enjoy a comfortable posture. To add on to comfort, the front foot pegs haven’t been placed much towards the rear.

7) Quick Acceleration: Breath-taking Performance

The Bajaj Kratos is expected to have a top speed above 150 kmph and will not take more than 7-8 seconds to sprint from 0 kmph to 100 kmph. The expected mileage of the bike is around 25-30 kmpl.

8) Metzeler Tyres: For ABS variant

The spy photos reveal that Bajaj Kratos is expected to be launched with Metzler tyres for ABS variant. However, the non-ABS variant if launched will carry MRF tyres.

9) Perfect Tourer at a Reasonable Budget: Tough Competitor

The new Bajaj Kratos is expected to be priced around Rs. 1.60-1.80 lakhs (non-ABS and ABS model) in India. Bajaj has somehow managed to keep production costs low by borrowing some components from RS200. Now, you can well imagine the competition it’s going to create for other bikes in this segment.

10) Launch Date: The Wait is Almost Over!

Bajaj is expected to launch Bajaj Kratos in Novermber 2016. So, you just need to keep a little more patience before Bajaj unveils its new beauty.
