2018 Bajaj Avenger 220 price list has been officially revealed. Updated Avenger 220 Street and 220 Cruise now comes with a price tag of INR 93,466 (ex-showroom Delhi). This makes them expensive by almost NR 5,800 from the last generation model.
Both these bikes were seen for the first time at Bajaj Auto’s event but prices were kept pending for some other day. 2018 Avenger 220 Cruise now comes with a redesigned front fascia, using all-new windshield design and typical cruiser headlight for better looks. When riding this motorcycle, the owner will get face to face with its new all-digital instrument console.
The Blue back-lit display comes with speedometer, odometer and trip meter in the clearest possible form. The same unit is available on Street 220 but that one comes with Orange back-lit display. Apart from all new shades, rear half gets a new tail light design on both options.
Round headlight on the Street gets replaced with the new one that features LED daytime running lights on the lower side. The tiny windshield is also redesigned in 2018 Avenger 220 Street. Apart from these changes, everything else stays the same as 2017 variants of the popular cruiser.
Avenger 220 is powered by an oil cooled, 220cc motor producing 18.8 BHP at 8400 rpm and 17.5 NM at 7000 rpm. The engine comes mated to a 5-speed gearbox. Street 220 weighs just 150 kg while Avenger 220 Cruise is a little bit heavy at 159 kg. The added weight comes with accessories like front windshield and rear backrest.
Baja Auto has kept the details for Avenger 180 hidden as their official website still shows Avenger 150 for its original price tag of INR 81,500 (ex-showroom). The updates given to both these products will help Bajaj Auto fetch more buyers for their perfectly placed cruiser options.
