Aprilia to launch SR 150 ‘Race Edition’ in coming days

Aprilia is all set to launch the SR150 Race Edition in India in the coming days. The scooter has been unveiled via a screenshot from a presentation and Race Edition is exactly the same scooter in a different livery. Aprilia SR150 is even the only one of its kind in the Indian market, making the Race Edition even more special to the Aprilia and Piaggio fans around the country.

The standard body is now covered in Maze Grey body shade while Race Branding stickers can be seen on all the body panels of the scooter. Stickers are Red and Green, providing the much needed contrast to enhance sportiness out of the sharp design. The front brake caliper is finished in Golden shade while the rims are finished Red on the motorcycle.

Apart from all these, the exhaust is finished in Gloss Black for further enhancement. The rear shock absorber is finished in Red on the SR150 Race Edition. Aprilia offers a Black rubber mat with Red highlights as an accessory for the scooter. The differences are purely cosmetic on the SR150 Race Edition, leaving performance exactly the same as standard model.

The engine on the SR150 is a 154.8 cc, single cylinder engine producing 10.4 BHP at 6750 rpm and 11.4 Nm at 5000 rpm. It comes mated to an automatic gearbox. Aprilia claims a top speed of above 100 kmph while the scooter weighs just 122 kg. It comes with 6.5 liters of fuel tank and retails at select outlets across Piaggio group dealerships in India.
