Bajaj Auto & Triumph Motorcycles Announce Global Partnership

The very well-known Indian 2-wheeler brand Bajaj Autos and the British niche bike maker Triumph Motorcycles have announced a global partnership for design, development and distribution of mid-range motorcycles. The mid-capacity motorcycles will be marketed all over the World.

“The objective of this non-equity partnership is to deliver a range of outstanding mid-range motorcycles benefiting from the collective strengths of both the companies, Bajaj Auto Managing Director Rajiv Bajaj and Triumph Motorcycles CEO Nick Bloor said in a joint statement.

The partnership is definitely going to make Triumph motorcycles to significantly expand their global reach by making such mid-capacity bikes. For Bajaj Autos this is an opportunity of the lifetime to have their brand associated with Triumph Motorcycles and have their bikes an International platform for sale. Under the partnership, the two companies are looking for collaboration in design, development, technology, quality, cost competitiveness, and worldwide distribution besides brand positioning and perception, they said in a statement.

The two companies are looking to enter the market with exceptional mid-capacity bikes that will create an impact on all the brands across the World. “We hope to bring to bear upon global markets the individual strengths of the partners, including brand position and perception, design and development technology, quality and cost competitiveness and worldwide distribution,” the joint statement added.

Currently, Bajaj Autos portfolio includes the most basic bike with 110cc engine to the most amazing 373cc engine in Dominar. Pulsar, Discover, Platina, CT100, and V are some top most selling bikes from Bajaj across India. From their stunning design to the amazing features, Bajaj bikes are not known to disappoint any one. The collaboration with the KTM also made the brand instantly desirable and their further collaboration with Triumph motorcycles is going to get Bajaj a more solid grip on the vehicle market across the World.

Triumph motorcycles have been impeccable with cruisers, roadsters and other range of motorcycles. Their engines are so powerful that the bike is known to talk to the wind. Triumph’s smallest displacement engine is the 675cc inline three engine on the SuperSport Triumph Daytona, and the classics range starts with the Triumph Street Twin, with a 900cc engine.
