TVS Motors has launched a new variant of Jupiter scooter in India. Known as Jupiter Classic Edition, TVS aims to target the buyers who want to buy an automatic scooter with retro looks like Vespa. Priced at INR 55,300, Jupiter Classic comes with host of new upgrades to give it a retro and classic look in terms of overall design and style.
Jupiter Classic is available in Sunlit Ivory shade with Silver Oak panels. The scooter is now equipped with a windshield, classic-edition decals, front disc brake, chrome finish handle dampeners, chrome backrest, full chrome mirrors, a smart USB charger and a dual-tone seat with stitching.
Mechanically, there are no changes and Jupiter Classic is powered by the same 109.7 cc single cylinder air-cooled engine, which develops maximum power of 7.88 Bhp @ 7500 rpm with maximum torque of 8 Nm @ 5500 rpm. The seat height of the scooter is 765 mm, ground clearance is 150 mm and the fuel tank capacity stands at 5 litres.
