# Update: The dealer meet was conducted by Bajaj Autos in Turkey to gauge the response of the dealers and prospective buyers for the all-new Pulsar NS200.
2017 Bajaj Pulsar NS200 Fi was recently disclosed at a dealer event in Turkey. The bike is ready for its launch in the country and would arrive next month. After its sudden discontinuation, fans were really disappointed from Bajaj Auto but its return with a better drive-train can make them happier then ever. The older version was sold with Metallic finish paints while the newcomer is seen in the image with a combination of Metallic and Matt shade, most effectively staying dual tone, even in the production model.

2017 Bajaj Pulsar NS200 Fi Showcased at a Dealer Meet
Bajaj Auto has been selling the same model in Turkey from quite a long time while they claimed the production halt to make way for the AS series for India. The older model came with a carburetor while the 2017 Bajaj Pulsar NS200 will have fuel injection for better performance and efficiency. The model is expected to produce 24.2 BHP and 18.3 Nm of torque. The engine comes mated to a 6-speed gearbox while most of the mechanical components remain the same as the older model.
The low weight and nearly equal power to the RS200 makes it a good option for those who love street bikes more than the faired ones. It will definitely get a price hike as the cost of fuel injection would bring it closer to the flagship Pulsar RS200. The motorcycle will compete against TVS Apache RTR 200 and KTM 200 Duke in India. The former is priced at a lower point while the latter uses premium parts and gets a higher price tag.
