A guy from Tamil Nadu bought his dream bike for Rs 2.60 lakh from a store in Salem. The man saved one rupee coin for more than three years in order to buy a Bajaj Dominar 400. According to media sources, the dealership owners counted the money for ten hours. The coins were transported in a van and then unloaded into wheelbarrows.
V Boopathi is a Youtuber as well as working as a computer operator for a private firm. While talking to a media handler, he said that he thought of buying the bike three years ago and asked the showroom about the price, but he was unable to afford that much money. He started collecting coins and also saved the Youtube channel revenue. At present, he bought the bike for an on-road price of Rs 2.60 lakh.
When it comes to performance, the 2022 Bajaj Dominar 400 is powered by a 373.3cc, single-cylinder, DOHC, liquid-cooled, fuel-injected engine which is capable of churning out 40 PS max power at 8800 rpm and 35 Nm max torque at 6500 rpm and mated with a 6-speed gearbox.
Coming to the cosmetic changes, Bajaj Auto has offered a bigger visor and twin knuckle guards to the 2022 model of Dominar 400. The windshield and knuckle guards have improved the overall looks of the motorcycle and it looks slightly bigger in comparison to the last-generation version. The knuckle guards include colour-matched embellishments and air deflectors in a black finish. Bajaj has also equipped the new model of Dominar 400 with a small pillion backrest which is integrated into the rear rack.
While talking about the key features of the motorcycle, it comes equipped with an all-LED headlamp with AHO feature and a digital split instrument console for offering plenty of information. Furthermore, for the safety of the bike riders, it gets a 2-channel ABS unit as well as 43mm USD forks, a slipper clutch and a twin-spar perimeter frame for better handling and enhanced comfort level.
