Bajaj Dominar 250 Top Speed & First Ride Review By Dino’s Vault: The famous YouTube channel Dino’s Vault has recently conducted a top-speed run of the newly launched Bajaj Dominar 250 to understand what the bike is capable of. The video features a Canyon Red Dominar 250 variant making rounds on a straight road ahead.
According to the video, the quarter-litre Dominar is capable of hitting top speed at 141kmph which is quite impressive for the 250cc single-cylinder streetfighter. Once the rider hits the 6th gear on the motorcycle, the top speed is maintained without stressing the engine further and at the same time keeping the revs on the lower side.

The 250cc, single-cylinder, liquid-cooled engine on the Bajaj Dominar 250 is capable of churning out a maximum power of 27HP @ 8,500 rpm and a peak torque of 23.5Nm @ 6,500 rpm. The engine remains mated to a 6-speed gearbox. The quarter-litre Dominar features identical design language when compared to its 400cc sibling while the engine specifications are almost similar to the KTM Duke 250 and the Husqvarna 250cc series.
The brand has priced the Dominar 250 in the markets at a price tag of INR 1.60 lakh (ex-showroom). The smaller-displacement Dominar has been equipped with a cheaper swingarm unit as well as thinner tyres though the suspension setup continues to feature USD forks at the front and a monoshock absorber at the rear. The motorcycle features disc brakes at either end which are further mated to a dual-channel ABS unit as standard.
The Dominar 250 has been equipped with a BS6-compliant engine while the higher-displacement Dominar 400 is expected to be updated with a BS6 engine very soon.
