Dominar 400 Police Edition Showcased: Bajaj Dominar 400 will be used as a police bike in Istanbul. The model was shown at 2018 Motorbike Istanbul Show and carried additional equipment that helps police officers in easy patrolling. The modified example had a huge windshield, dedicated siren and lighting system, Polis graphics and top box for carrying regular equipment.
The models seen in Istanbul were finished in Black and White shade options. Bajaj was one among 265 exhibitors at the show, revealing this special Dominar along with another special model named Pulsar NS200 Adventure.
Bajaj Auto also presented V15 and Pulsar 135 LS in Istanbul to gauge customer interest in entry level products. Dominar 400 is powered by a 373.2cc, single cylinder engine producing 35 HP at 8000 rpm and 35 Nm at 6500 rpm. The engine comes mated to a 6-speed gearbox. Features like powerful LED headlight, slipper clutch and dual channel ABS makes Dominar the best possible motorcycle in this segment.
Bajaj has presented the same as a Royal Enfield rival but in actual terms, it is an exclusive product that feels closer to Mahindra Mojo than any other product sold in India. Dominar 400 is priced at INR 1.42 lakh for the non-ABS and INR 1.56 lakh for ABS equipped model.
