Bajaj has upgraded its Platina ES with a host of features and launched it as Platina ComforTec. The same has been priced at Rs 43,241 (ex-showroom Delhi) while all of the changes are excellent when it comes to the customers health.
The new Platina uses the same 102 cc engine producing 8 Bhp @ 7500 rpm and maximum torque of 8.6 Nm @ 5000 rpm. The first upgrade is the claimed mileage, which has gone up to 104 kmpl (as per CMVR testing norms).
Platina ComforTec claims 20 percent less jerks on the Indian roads. It uses a 28 percent longer spring in the front suspension while the rear uses a 22 percent extra long springs. This provides utmost comfort to both rider and the pillion, followed by the best quality seat material for lesser back pain caused due to potholes and uneven roads.
Bajaj Platina ComforTec with 104 KMPL Mileage Launched
The kick start version for the new Platina costs INR 43,241 while the electric start is sold at a premium of INR 45,252. Along with all these features the new Platina has a ground clearance of 200 mm, which is highest in its class. It uses SNS suspension and a maintenance free battery. Platina ComforTec is available in 3 shades: Red, Black, and Blue.
