Bajaj Pulsar NS160 is now on-sale in Turkey for TRY 9,830 (INR 1.80 lakh approx. after conversion). The company has shown no desire to launch the same in India but as every manufacturer is placing key products in the 150-160 cc segment, Bajaj may think of launching the NS160 in India by the end of this year. Bajaj Pulsar NS160 was recently shown at a dealers meet in Turkey and the bike looks very much similar to the new Pulsar NS200.
Bajaj Pulsar NS160 Launched in Turkey @ TRY 9,830
The new engine is a reworked version of Bajaj’s 150cc motor. The 160.3 cc, single cylinder, triple spark oil-cooled engine is good for 15.5 PS at 8500 rpm and 14.6 Nm at 6500 rpm. It comes mated to a 5-speed gearbox and weighs just 135 kg.
The front tyre measures 100/80-17 while the rear is 110/70-17. Pulsar NS160 gets an oil-cooled engine and gets single channel ABS as a standard feature in Turkey. The bike is Euro 4 compliant, which means it is BS4 ready according to the emission norms in India.
Bajaj has kept its styling in the same way as bigger NS200. The tank shrouds are finished in the same Matt Grey shade on all the color options. It comes in Sapphire Blue, Passion Red and Pearl Metallic White shade in Turkey. Bajaj Auto will soon launch the same in most of the International markets. The engine is high on torque and brings all of its power in the accessible range, making it really exciting to drive in city conditions.
