1) Excellent Looks & Style

A sure-shot winner of its category, Bajaj Pulsar NS160 has looks that make one fall in love at first sight. The impressive tank shrouds, demon inspired front fascia and thin tail section makes it the best-looking motorcycle of this segment. The muscular, chiselled body is a head turner for this price tag. Bajaj Auto uses dual tone body shades with Matte Grey insertions for a class-leading visual experience. The updated model of NS160 now comes with 90/90 -17″ front tyre and 120/80 -17″ rear tyre. As far as the brakes are concerned, the bike now comes with a 230mm rear disc brake as standard, in addition to the 240mm front disc.

2) Powerful & Fuel Efficient

The 160.3cc, single cylinder oil cooled motor is good for 15.5 PS at 8500 rpm and 14.6 Nm at 6500 rpm. The high amount of torque in usable rev band makes this Pulsar an excellent option for street riding. NS160 proves to be the best thing Bajaj could offer in their in-house 150cc-160cc segment. Pulsar NS160 can be bought in three exciting dual tone shades: Red, Grey and Blue, all of them mix up very well with their dark matte shade. All of the shades have a huge 160 moniker on the tank extensions. The base shade is seen on the fuel tank, side panels around the headlight and lower engine panels. Timely inserts within the front fender add a premium touch to the motorcycle. Bajaj also offers body colour-coded pinstripes on the wheels.

The most advanced digital-analogue console from Bajaj is used on the NS160. 1) No ABS

Single Channel ABS is offered in the Turkish version of NS160 while the one sold in India does not support the safety feature. The same single channel ABS is used on Pulsar RS200 in India with an increase in the price of INR 12,000. Most brands in India are offering single-channel ABS to cut on the additional cost. It is expected that Bajaj will launch the 1-channel ABS version of the NS160 in coming weeks.

2) High Kerb Weight

Bajaj Pulsar NS160 weighs 145 kg, making it the heaviest bike among its rivals in India. Yamaha FZ Fi weighs just 132 kg while the heavily loaded CB Hornet 160R with CBS weighs just 140 kg. This has a negative impact on initial acceleration and the overall handling of the motorcycle.
