After the launch of recently updated Platina 100 and CT100 with a BS6-compliant engine, the BS6 Bajaj Pulsar 150 Twin Disc variant has started reaching the dealerships. Ahead of the official launch, Dino’s Vault has released the first ride video review of the upcoming bike on YouTube. The motorcycle has been equipped with a fuel-injected engine in addition to getting various updated bits and pieces, catering to the more stringent BS6 emission norms.
There has been no official confirmation on the revised price tag of the updated Pulsar 150 Twin Disc model though one can expect both the single disc and twin disc variants of the motorcycle to get a premium of INR 5,000 – INR 7,000 when compared to the BS4 version.
The fuel injection system offered to the motorcycle ensures lesser pollution via complete combustion thereby resulting in an overall increase in the fuel economy. The addition of a more refined engine will allow it to offer better power delivery and a smoother ride.
In addition to this, the instrument console on the motorcycle has been equipped with an engine warning light. The power and torque figures of the BS6 Bajaj Pulsar 150 hasn’t been revealed though one can expect the performance figures to be more or less the same when compared to the BS4 version.
The BS4-compliant engine on the Pulsar 150 Twin Disc is capable of offering maximum power of 14HP and a peak torque of 13.4Nm. The engine will be mated to the same 5-speed gearbox.
The updated motorcycle from the brand features the same 37mm telescopic forks at the front while the rear end features dual shock absorbers. The twin-disc variant of the motorcycle is equipped with a single-channel ABS unit as standard. The BS6 Bajaj Pulsar 150 Twin Disc is expected to be launched in the market very soon.
