Bajaj Dominar 400 and Dominar 250 Price Increased: Bajaj Auto has just announced a price hike for the Dominar series of motorcycles. The Dominar 400 is now available with a price tag of INR 1,96,258, getting a price hike of INR 1,507 in comparison to the old price tag. On the other hand, the Dominar 250 has got its first price hike since its launch in the Indian market. Bajaj Auto has increased the price of the 250cc Dominar by INR 4,090, and it is now available with an ex-showroom price tag of INR 1,64,090.

Mechanically, the Bajaj Dominar 250 is powered by a 248.77cc, BS6-compliant, single-cylinder, 4-stroke, DOHC, 4-valve, liquid-cooled and fuel-injected engine. It is good for a maximum power of 27 HP @ 8500 rpm along with a peak torque of 23.5 Nm @ 6500 rpm. The engine is mated to a 6-speed transmission. The company-claimed top speed of the motorcycle stands at 132kmph.
Bajaj Dominar 400 is powered by the same 373.3cc, single-cylinder, fuel-injected, liquid-cooled, DOHC engine that is now BS6-compliant and capable of offering maximum power of 40 HP @ 8,800 rpm and a peak torque of 35 Nm @ 7,000 rpm. The engine remains mated to a 6-speed gearbox. The power and torque figures of the updated machine remain similar to the one offered by the BS4 version.
