Bajaj Pulsar RS200 Price Increased Once Again: After increasing the price of the Pulsar RS200 back in December last year by around INR 3,000, Bajaj Auto has hiked the price of the 200cc sports bike once again. This time, the bike has received a price hike of INR 5,005. The BS6-compliant Pulsar RS200 is now available in the markets with an updated price tag of INR 1,57,184. The prices mentioned here are ex-showroom Delhi.
Powering the MY2021 Bajaj Pulsar RS200 is the same 199.5cc, BS6-compliant, single-cylinder, liquid-cooled, fuel-injected engine which is good for a maximum power of 24.5HP @ 9,750 rpm along with a peak torque of 18.7Nm @ 8,000 rpm. The engine remains mated to a six-speed transmission.
The suspension duties continue to be handled by conventional telescopic forks at the front while the rear features a nitrox gas-charged monoshock unit. The sports bike is equipped with disc brakes at both ends which are further mated to a dual-channel ABS unit as standard.
Bajaj Pulsar RS200 is one of the most popular sports bikes in its price range and it competes in the Indian markets with the likes of the other fully-faired sportbikes like Suzuki Gixxer SF 155, Yamaha R15 V3, and the KTM RC 200.
Back on October 16, 2020, Bajaj Auto launched three new colours for the Pulsar RS200 to boost sales during the festive season. According to the brand, the latest dual-tone colour combinations are based on the ‘colour blocking’ design language. But somehow, the white alloy wheels and perimeter frame are not looking good enough to enhance the overall profile of the sports bike.
