Benelli 302 Touring Motorcycle Unveiled: Benelli is one brand that has the power to change Indian motorcycle segment through its wide range of products. As buyers are familiar with naked and sport variant of 300cc segment, this new tourer named Benelli BJ300GS will rock its segment in the coming days
Benelli already has same sort of product based on TNT 600i and thus, they utilize each engine segment to get the best for almost every type of rider. Indian launch for BJ300GS will open new ways to them to compete against Kawasaki Versys series. Only Benelli and Kawasaki are offering such frugal and cost friendly products in India.
The motorcycle remains exactly the same in terms of components except for the front fairing while engine tune is also different for tourer friendly performance. The 300cc, twin cylinder engine on the motorcycle is good for 34 HP and 27.10 Nm of torque.
This helps the motorcycle pull that extra weight with ease than the standard naked TNT 300. Benelli BJ300GS weighs 216 kg and comes with panniers and optional boxes for touring friendly rides. As it won’t take them much time to bring this China specific product to India, one can expect the motorcycle to launch around late 2018.
Benelli offers ABS as standard across its Indian performance bike lineup as only TNT 25 is left out of the safety net. The Chinese-Italian brand is expanding footprints in India through all new dealerships and expanding their product portfolio is the most important step in 2018.
They showcased a long list of products at EICMA and all of them have the capability to rock Indian market with exclusive designing and class leading power. The range starts well under INR 2 lakh and goes up to INR 6.75 lakh (on-road) for 600GT. They have discontinued the two bigger products due to negligible sales.
