Benelli Imperiale 400 Registers 4000 Bookings in India

As per the latest buzz in the motorcycle industry, the recently launched Benelli Imperiale 400 has managed to register around 4000 bookings since its launch in the Indian market. It was introduced in India in October this year at a price tag of INR 1.69 lakh (ex-showroom).

The cruiser motorcycle is a direct rival for the Royal Enfield Classic 350 and the Jawa motorcycles in its price segment. According to one of the Benelli officials, the bike has received a positive response since the announcement of the bookings in India. The deliveries of the Imperiale 400 are being facilitated through all Benelli showrooms across the country.

Speaking of the Imperiale 400, it comprises of classic-vintage styling with chrome highlights and blacked-out components. The round headlamp, teardrop-shaped fuel tank with grips, twin-pod console, two-piece seat and spoke wheels are present along with three colour options: red, silver, and black.

The mechanical details of the Imperiale 400 include a 374cc single-cylinder air-cooled unit that is capable to generate a maximum power of 21HP and a peak torque of 29Nm that performs in combination with a five-speed gearbox.

The Imperiale 400 is an amazing attempt by the brand in order to challenge the segment leader – Classic 350. Although it’s certain that the bike will be unable to fetch a sales number close to the C350 but surely it’s a good option for the buyers in this segment.
