Benelli’s sibling company, Keeway, has made its official entry into the Indian market with the introduction of three all-new products for the country. The brand has offered the K-Light 250V, Vieste 300, and Sixties 300i two-wheelers, which will be sold in Benelli stores throughout India. Online bookings for all three models have begun, and buyers can reserve these two-wheelers by depositing a token amount of Rs 10,000 via the official website.
The Hungarian marque has also revealed that it will bring another five vehicles to our market in the future. To begin with the K-Light 250V, this cruiser bike supports a 250cc V-Twin engine with a belt-driven system. This engine is capable of churning out 18.7bhp at 8,500rpm and 19Nm of torque at 5,500rpm. In terms of design and styling, it gets a tiny LED headlight array upfront and a spherical DRL that looks like a classic halogen bulb. The fender is attached to the swingarm, which has LED taillights.
The Keeway Vieste 300 is a maxi-style scooter that takes power from a 278cc liquid-cooled four-stroke engine that generates 18.7bhp and 22Nm of max torque. The brand has used a conventional belt-drive system, front and rear disc brakes, dual-channel ABS, and telescopic front suspension. The European-style scooter has four LED projectors and DRLs upfront, giving it a contemporary feel. The taillights are LED as well, and the turn indicators are flush with the bodywork. It will be available in three colour options called Matte Black, Matte Blue, and Matte White.
Next on the list is the Keeway Sixties 300i scooter that represents its name with retro design and 1960s design language. Elements like the front grille, fender ornament, chrome and others add to its retro appeal. Powering the scooter is the same 278cc engine that powers the Vieste 300 scooter and is tuned to the same power figures. As far as features are concerned, the Sixties 300i boasts smartphone-connected tech, split seats, LED lighting, under-seat storage and many more.
