Benelli TRK 251 is Coming to India Soon – Pre-Bookings Open For Rs 6,000

Benelli India is all set to introduce the entry-level adventure tourer, TRK 251, to its current bike portfolio. But prior to the official launch of the bike, the brand has commenced pre-bookings from December 6, 2021. Interested customers can pre-book the TRK 251 from the company’s official website by paying Rs. 6000 as a token amount. While deliveries of the forthcoming bike, as announced by Benelli, will start in January 2022.

Speaking of the new TRK 251, Vikas Jhabakh, MD, Benelli India, stated that the debut of this bike will mark the beginning of a new era for the brand as the company is stepping into the new journey of offering affordable and high-performance adventure tourers to the Indian market. The upcoming TRK 251 will be offered in three attractive colour choices, which are Glossy White, Glossy Grey, and Glossy Black.

From that, we can see that the TRK 251 takes design inspiration from its larger TRK siblings and gets an acute beak at the front, a unique LED DRL, dual-LED headlamps, split-seat setup, taller windscreen, an all-digital instrument console, a side-mounted exhaust system, 17-inch alloy wheels at both front and rear ends, upright handlebar positioning, and sharp body panels, to mention a few. The suspension duties are handled by USD front forks and a mono-shock at the rear end with long travel capabilities.

Moreover, powering the TRK 251 is a 249cc, single-cylinder, liquid-cooled engine that uses fuel-injected technology and churns out 26.82 HP @ 10,500 rpm and 20.5 Nm @ 8500 rpm. This engine is coupled with a 6-speed transmission and supports a wet multi-plate clutch as well. This motorcycle will be the fifth new launch by the company this year and, after being launched, it will compete with the KTM 250 Adventure in the quarter-litre segment.
