The BS6-Compliant Benelli TNT 600i will serve as the first upgraded product from the Italian manufacturer in the Indian market. The engine tune will be altered for the four-cylinder motorcycle to pass the strict BS6 emission norms. The TNT 600i was introduced in India in 2015 and two years later, it was updated with ABS to keep up with the rising demand for safe bikes.
The most powerful option that one can buy from Benelli in India, the TNT 600i may also get a facelift that was seen last year for some limited markets. The updated model features a different design for the headlight, and the streetfighter also got new colour options.
The title of the most affordable four-cylinder motorcycle in India is still with the TNT 600i as Honda CBR650R, the next bike with same cylinder arrangement is priced at INR 7.70 lakh. The TNT 600i is available for INR 6.20 lakh, undercutting the CBR650R by INR 1.50 lakh. The prices mentioned here are ex-showroom India.
The 85 Bhp of maximum power output from the TNT 600i is very impressive while torque value of close to 54 Nm makes it slightly under the value offered by other motorcycles with similar displacement.
The update will definitely bring a price hike with itself while other options like TNT 300 and 302R are available for lower than ever price tags as the brand recently announced a huge price cut for both the 300cc twin-cylinder motorcycles.
The TNT 300 and 302R are now available for INR 2.99 lakh and INR 3.10 lakh respectively. The BS6-Compliant Benelli TNT 600i is expected to launch in India by the end of this year or early next year.
