G310R has taken up some rugged clothing and named itself BMW F310GS. Yes, the recently spotted adventure variant of BMW motorcycle is nothing other than the adventure friendly cousin of the naked G310R. It has been developed on the same platform as hinted by Phil Horton, BMW Motorrad UK’s director.
This is the third product in BMW TVS technology patch-up as the second one is the Akula 310 Concept of Auto Expo 2016. BMW F310GS would be made at the same TVS facility in India. Apart from it international unveil at the EICMA 2016, it could be a solid Indian competitor for upcoming off-road and adventure friendly section, especially the KTM 390 Adventure.
BMW F310GS Adventure Motorcycle Spied
The cost of the F310GS would stay light on the brand as it will share maximum technology and parts with the naked street fighter. The design stays clean as BMW has used the same headlight for the adventure variant also, cutting much cost for newly and differently designed components for this bike.
It comes fitted with an extended grab-rail for placing the luggage while the tank shrouds have also been extended for better aerodynamic stability of the motorcycle on the highway. It will carry different all-road tyres while the optional accessory list for this motorcycle is expected to have more utility equipment for the bike.
