The face-lifted Honda Brio has been launched in India at a starting price of INR 4.69 lakh (ex-showroom Delhi). Honda has pushed in the updates that were made on the Amaze sedan into its most affordable product, bringing it back into the league of mid sized hatchbacks. It carries the same front grill as the Honda Amaze, difference being that it has been finished in Gloss Black shade on the Brio.
It now carries a new dashboard, inline with the Amaze and BR-V. The interiors are now better and it even carries the new instrument console, digital AC unit and all black interior in the topmost trim. The only drawback on the Brio is the unavailability of touchscreen infotainment system, even on the topmost trim.
The Brio comes with ABS, dual front airbags and seat pretensioners for enhanced safety of the passengers. The engine on the car remains the same 1.2 L i-VTEC motor producing 88 PS of maximum power and 109 Nm of maximum torque. The car even offers 5-speed automatic gearbox for easy driving. Brio rivals Maruti Swift, Ford Figo and Hyundai Grand i10 while all of them are even available in diesel engine options.

Brio E MT – Rs 4,69,000
Brio S MT – Rs 5,20,000
