BMW G310GS Launched in Malaysia: BMW recently launched the G310GS in Malaysia for RM 29,900 (INR 4,68,500 approx). The motorcycle is a mark that sub 500 cc category is booming at an effective rate, making all sorts of bikes available to the riders who are not able to reach those 100+ BHP machines.
In Malaysia, BMW G310R is available at RM 26,900 (INR 4,21,500 approx). This takes the total difference to INR 47,000 and clears the fact that BMW will price both these bikes in India with a difference of almost INR 25,000. The versatile nature of compact engines, along with cost and comfort oriented drive-able nature makes them the best choice among other things in the market.
BMW G310GS is actually a G310R by heart while its body and external components have been selected in relation to its current profile. It is powered by a single cylinder 313 cc engine producing 34 HP and comes with liquid cooling and fuel injection for further refinement.
The first external change is the long travel suspension with front 19 inch wheel, making it good for challenges thrown in the front by the road. The seat height is 835 mm, high enough for most Indian to give this bike a miss from their desired list.
The motorcycle offers 169.5 kg of weight and carries the fully digital instrument console for better readability. It carries the design elements from the bigger GS series bikes and presently is manufactured at TVS facility in India. The front forks have 49mm of more travel than the ones used on G310R.
BMW G310GS comes with loads of accessory options like smartphone holder, satellite navigation, heated grips and even seat height lowering and raising options. BMW G310GS would arrive with the G310R in India, not before the given deadline of July 2018.
