BS6 BMW G310R Spotted Testing in India Once Again

BS6 BMW G310R Spotted Testing Again: The upcoming BS6-compliant model of the BMW G310R streetfighter has been spotted testing on the Indian roads once again. As we reported earlier, the bike now features an all-LED headlight along with revised fuel tank extensions and radiator shrouds. Apart from these minor changes, the overall design remains the same for the 2020 BS6 BMW G310R.

Mechanically, the BS4-compliant model of the entry-level BMW motorcycle was powered by a 313cc, liquid-cooled, single-cylinder engine that was capable of offering maximum power of 34HP and a peak torque of 28Nm. The BS6-compliant model is expected to generate similar power and torque values while the engine will also remain mated to a 6-speed transmission.

The BS6 BMW G310R roadster and the G310GS adventure motorcycle are expected to be launched in the Indian market with massive price cuts. The updated motorcycle variants with a BS6-compliant engine are expected to get around INR 75,000 price cut when compared to their BS4 counterparts.

2020 BS6 BMW G310R & G310GS Spotted Testing in India

With the reduction in the official price tags, one can expect the BS6 model of the G310R to get a price tag of around INR 2.25 lakh and the BS6-compliant variant of the G310GS is expected to be priced around INR 2.75 lakh. Both the updated motorcycle variants are expected to grace the Indian markets in the coming weeks.

For you reference, the BS4 BMW G310R was available in the markets at an official price tag of INR 2.99 lakhs while the G310GS BS4 version was available at INR 3.49 lakh. The prices mentioned here are ex-showroom.
