4 New Ducati Bikes Coming to India! Ducati recently revealed that they will launch 4 new bikes in 2018. As aggressive plans were always a part of Ducati India’s strategy, four new products will further extend their lineup to achieve the best out of nearest competition.
These four products were not officially named but one can expect them to be Panigale V4 S Speciale, Scrambler 1100, Monster 821 and Multistrada 1260. First one of them is a flagship racer with all top spec electronic equipment and limited production number. Ducati could reveal the exact number of units available for India in coming weeks.
Ducati is expected to bring these through their Thailand based plant, helping Indian get better machines at effective pricing through Free Trade Agreement. Monster 821 was once available but got discontinued due to the older BS3 engine last year. 2019 variant of Monster 821 is not just BS4 compliant but also comes with additional design upgrades and better equipment.
This can be their most affordable product after 797 with Scrambler sourced engine. They will also start Ducati Riding Experience for the customers, helping them train for their bike in closed environments. Ducati Multistrada 1260 will be a more powerful an updated version to present gen Multistrada 1200.
It comes with a 1262cc engine producing 158 HP at 9500 rpm and 129.5 Nm at 7500 rpm. The engine comes mated to a 6-speed gearbox. The bike comes with updated list of features and electronic equipment. Scrambler 1100 will place itself as flagship Scrambler of all time, using a 1079cc engine.
This one is good for 86 HP at 7500 rpm and 88 Nm at 4750 rpm. It weighs 206 kg and can get a price tag of around INR 11 lakh. Ducati will launch all these bikes at different intervals as out of these four, none of the bike is heading for localization.
