Hero MotoCorp is expected to showcase the production version of XF3R at EICMA 2018. They have planned four products in the 200cc-300cc segment, out of which, Xtreme 200R and XPulse 200 are two sure shot options. The remaining two are expected to based on this new 300cc platform. Hero XF3R would be an effective rival against Bajaj Dominar, BMW G310R, Mahindra Mojo 300 and KTM 390 Duke in India. The design of Hero XF3R was patented in India for the production finalization. The production model is expected to get an ex-showroom price tag of around INR 1.25 lakhs.
Hero XF3R would be a flagship product, most probably getting an all-new nameplate in its production version. The concept comes with single-sided swingarm and USD forks, which they can even skip making it more cost effective as Bajaj did with Dominar. Hero also plans exclusive premium dealerships for these products. The motorcycle comes with a typical street bike design, carrying impressive bulky fuel tank at the front. It even comes with extensions that seem to integrate the LED indicators of the motorcycle. The alloy wheel is painted Black at the front and Red for the rear one in the concept version.
XF3R’s high mounted exhaust could be replaced with a bit relaxed one in the production version. Not just that, it is even expected to bring Pirelli Sport Demon tires, digital instrument console, and dual-channel ABS with itself. Although, it is still unknown that which of these features would be carried forward. Hero XF3R can even be called as the most effective Hero design to date. Also, the fourth product can be the new 300cc Karizma, leading to some speculations that XF3R may get named Karizma 300S for its body design. That would be the perfect ingredient to start a premium dealership network by Hero.
