Hero Xtreme 200S looks decently-acceptable in the official images, clearing all the doubts that future buyers will have for the full-faired sports bike. The frame, tires, and engine parts are shared with the Xtreme 200R streetfighter while the body section at the front flaunts an entirely different design.
The motorcycle is available with three colour options, and the front section resembles the new Suzuki Katana to some extent, while the rear part is almost similar to the Xtreme 200R. Hero Xtreme 200S is powered by an 18.4 HP, 200cc air-cooled engine that uses carburettor and 5-speed gearbox as standard. The side profile of the motorcycle remains familiar, with small changes like a different exhaust design, and front fairing reaching the belly pan in a conventional manner.
The Hero Xtreme 200S is equipped with segment-first features like smartphone connectivity with turn-by-turn navigation and twin LED headlight. The side profile of the sports bike seems to be slightly inspired by the Hero Ignitor while most design lines are matching with some of the high-spec international sportbikes.
The front and rear disc brakes, seat padding and handlebar setting are exactly similar to the Xtreme 200R. The motorcycle can be had in Sports Red, Panther Black, and Brown shade, with the latter two unable to bring the complete styling out of the motorcycle’s front fascia. The black section around the headlight is hidden through the dark shades up to some extent.
Hero Xtreme 200S was recently launched in India with an ex-showroom price tag of INR 98,500 while the deliveries for the sports bike are expected to start by the end of this month. You can click here for the complete technical specifications and features of the New Hero Xtreme 200S.
