Honda CB350 Highness Recalled in India Over Gear Issues

Honda CB350 Highness Recalled in India: Honda Motorcycle and Scooter India (HMSI) has today announced a voluntary recall for the recently-launched CB350 Highness. According to the brand, the units of the cruiser motorcycle manufactured between 25th November and 12th December 2020 are affected, however, the company has not revealed the exact number of units.

The Japanese 2-wheeler brand has identified a different material grade usage in countershaft, in the 4th gear of the transmission, which may lead to a defect upon the extensive usage of the motorcycle. Honda has announced that as of now, no cases of any failure have been reported.

The CB350 Highness recall campaign will begin on 23rd March 2021 and the brand will replace the affected part (countershaft 4th gear of transmission) free of cost. The BigWing dealers will notify their customers via call, e-mail and SMS for inspection of their motorcycle starting from today. The CB350 Highness owners can also check if their bike falls under this campaign on the Honda BigWing website (www.hondabigwing.in) by entering the bike’s VIN number.
