Honda CBR650R has been listed on the official website, clearing the fact that the motorcycle will launch in India much sooner than the fans expected. The official press release from Honda also confirmed that the second global product to enter India this year is CBR650R for sure.
The big bike dealerships will soon be delivering the motorcycle to those who have already booked the same and thus, seeing the perfectly balanced motorcycle on-road soon is not a big deal. Honda will bring both the shades (Grand Prix Red and Matte Gunpowder Black Metallic) to the Indian market as they are listed in the colours section on their website.
Honda CBR650R is seen with new exhaust system, full LED lighting, LCD display in place of the older CBR650F console, 650cc engine with 12,000 rpm range and much more than the old CBR with the 650F moniker. The international output values will change with the Indian fuel quality and testing condition and thus, a slight reduction can be expected on the model.
The weight will also increase for the stock version as adding saree guard will raise the value. However, the second problem can be solved instantly as everyone is in a need to use the pillion seat for every occasion. The front CBR1000R-derived fascia is the most happening change on the CBR650R.
Mr Yadvinder Singh Guleria, Senior Vice President – Sales and Marketing, Honda Motorcycle and Scooter India Pvt. Ltd said, “Less than 2 weeks after the national launch of CB300R, Honda is proud to unleash its second global blockbuster in the middle-weight segment under the Silver Wing-mark umbrella. After the 2019 global fun model line-up unveil in EICMA, Honda has now opened bookings for its new middleweight sports machine CBR650R in India too. With an aggressive Fireblade inspired bodywork, a strong dose of CBR sporting intent & intense power, Honda’s Make-in-India CBR650R will entice fun bikers of India like never before!”
