Hyderabad Police to Get Fully Equipped Regal Raptor Motorcycles

Hyderabad Police will soon get fully equipped Regal Raptor cruisers in the coming time. The awesome looking motorcycle will hold public addressing system, GPS tracker, police lights and many more privileges over the standard Regal Raptor. The US based cruiser builder is now owned by a Chinese group. They joined hands with Hyderabad based FAB group in February 2015.

They are planning to get exclusive manufacturing rights for exporting the motorcycles to 8 neighboring countries. The motorcycle that would enter the police fleet are based on Regal Raptor DD-350E (Cruiser 350), powered by a 320cc, 2-cylinder, water cooled engine. The twin cylinder motor is good for 22.8 BHP at 8500 rpm and 22 Nm at 6500 rpm. The engine comes mated to a 5-speed gearbox.

The 180 kg Regal Raptor retails for INR 2,96,000 and may command higher tag for the added equipment for the police use. The one seen here is finished in Pearl White and carries the police stickers at every required part. It can even be seen fitted with luggage holders with Hyderabad Police stickers on both sides. The large front windshield helps reduce wind blast on this typical Regal Raptor.
